Choose the description that best fits the animal of interest.  If none

12a.  yellowish brown, reddish brown, salmon, orange or brownish pink,
mottled or net-like pattern on back, light bar from eye to nostril,
keeled tail

                    Gyrinophilus porphyriticus (Spring Salamander)

12b.  reddish brown back, grayish sides, white belly with black spots,
four toes on hind feet, constriction at base of tail

                    Hemidactylium scutatum (Four-toed Salamander)

12c.  light gray to black or red on back, belly with black and white
mottling

                    Plethodon cinereus (Redback Salamander)

12d.  pale line from eye to angle of jaw, hind legs larger and sturdier
than front
